1) Describe your job at BRIDGES.
My responsibility as a Director of BRIDGES at Lake Worth site is committed to work with my team and oversee the day-to-day operations while connecting members in need with local programs and support.
2) Why did you decide to work at BRIDGES?
My decision to work for BRIDGES at Lake Worth derived from my passion to work with children and families. BRIDGES focused upon parents’ strengths and empowering them to raise their children in healthy, nurturing homes.
3) What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy being engaged with my team, members, and community partners in efforts to bring out change. I want to make a difference in the community and bring hope to the lives of others by advocating and empowering them.
4) How are you making a difference in the lives of BRIDGES families?
The Bridges at Lake Worth team is leaving no stone unturned. We think outside of the box. We strive to use every possible source or resource to support BRIDGES families.
5) What do you hope families gain from attending BRIDGES activities?
The goal for BLW is to advocate, empower and build self-sustaining families. The team helps foster an environment of trust and help family gained insights from workshop activities for a better way of life.
6) Tell us about yourself –
I was born in Haiti and came to America when I was 10 years old. I have been living in Palm Beach County, Florida for the past 30 years. Being raised in a Haitian household, my parents have taught me the importance of Christianity and education. I have a Master’s in Social Work from Barry University and a Bachelor from Florida Atlantic University. I’m a girl dad, the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
7) Tell us something that we do not know about you?
I’m adventurous and enjoy traveling. One of the best things about traveling is meeting new people. Meeting people who have different backgrounds and life experiences have been a great experience for me because it helps me become even more open-minded about cultural diversity.
