A funny book about a young girl who just does not want to go in for her first day of school. It is not until the end of the story that we learn that it is Mrs. Hartwell, the teacher, who had a hard time getting out of bed to face her new class. She worries she won’t know anyone, thinks it will be too hard, and complains that her head hurts….all of the excuses many students experience. This story is a great way to show students that even adults get a little nervous when trying something new. (Facebook Live)
